Mermaid Jewellery is handcrafted using sterling silver and seaglass I have gathered from Vancouver Island beaches. The smooth, frosty patina of seaglass (also known as Mermaid’s Tears) is formed when broken, discarded glass is tumbled for decades in the ocean’s waves; many of the pieces you find in my jewellery are rare, dating back to the early 1900’s. Living in the Cowichan Valley all of my life, I have grown to be inspired by such naturally beautiful surroundings. This inspiration and enchantment from nature translates to my jewelry.
